Exchange 2013 CU11 Released

Exchange 2013 CU11 has been released to the Microsoft download centre! Exchange 2013 has a different servicing strategy than Exchange 2007/2010 and utilises Cumulative Updates (CUs) rather than the Rollup Updates (RU/UR) which were used previously. Exchange 2010 SP3 RU12 Released

The Exchange team today announced the availability of Update Rollup 12 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3. RU12 is the latest rollup of customer fixes available for Exchange Server 2010. The release contains fixes for customer reported issues and previously released security bulletins.

Restart Exchange 2010 CAS And Authentication Prompts

There are multiple causes for Outlook clients to receive authentication prompts. This can be caused by impaired AD performance where the DCs are negatively impacted and cannot respond quickly. This can be caused by semaphore timeouts, due to NTLM bottlenecks. In Exchange 2010 the CAS Array uses NTLM by default, and the recommendation is to use Kerberos.

Exchange 2016 Released

It’s the first of October, and this new month brings us a new version of Exchange. Exchange 2016 is now available from the Microsoft download centre.

This is build 15.01.0225.042 of Exchange 2016, and Exchange2016-x64.exe is the downloaded file.
