End of DirSync and AAD Sync Support

Azure AD Connect Express Install Upgrade – Build 1.1.105.0

In February 2016 a new build of the Azure AD Connect tool was released.  This is build 1.1.105.0.  Multiple features and enhancements were added, and some significant changes were made to Azure AD Connect.

Azure AD Connect Express Install Upgrade – Build 1.0.9131.0

PSA – AAD Connect Released Also AAD Connect Health Released

Azure Active Directory Connect (AAD Connect) was released today along with Azure Active Directory Connect Health (AAD Connect health).  AAD Connect continues to drive the investments that are made to assist with on-boarding to Microsoft Azure and Office.  The intent is that AAD Connect will replace DirSync and AAD Sync, and add multiple new capabilities.

Azure Active Directory Synchronization Services (AAD Sync) – Beware the Synchronize Now Check Box

After upgrading my labs to Azure Active Directory Synchronization Services (AAD Sync), the install completed successfully and I was able to use the new process to manually initiate a full sync cycle.  Excellent!
