WordPress Linux Web App Poor Performance

Azure Create WordPress App Service

Having to host, upgrade and manage WordPress is not really my main job.  The various posts over the years will provide a small clue that other things take up most of my time and are my day job.  Life was certainly easier when TechNet was still around as a dedicated team ran the MSDN and TechNet blog platforms and provided all of the infrastructure support.  All I had to do was write the posts.

Most Popular Blog Posts For 2020

Well, good bye to 2020.  That was some year to put it mildly…

Again, we see that on-premises content has been reduced and the overall focus is Office 365 and Hybrid.  AD FS certificates keep on expiring and so do WAP, thus those articles remain popular as ever.

So Long and Thanks For All the Fish {Possibly}

Earlier on this year you may have noticed a "not found" error page when visiting some of the older TechNet or MSDN blogs.  If you were lucky, you would have received the graphic shown below.  If not, then you would have had a nice and cryptic result code...

Deleted Blog - Oops! That page can't be found!

Blog Code Examples Not Running Due to Smart Quotes

During an excellent trip to see a local customer *, it was noted that some of the script examples on the blog were not working as expected.  The post we were looking at was the Check Exchange 2013 Schema and Object Information in AD.  When the sample commands were copied, the Exchange administrator was not able to immediately use them, even after editing to suit their environment.
