New Blog Platform

TechNet Blog Migration

As of late afternoon yesterday, this blog and a few hundred others were moved from the old TechNet blogs platform to the new one.  All of the content, links and ratings should have flowed over.  From what I'm seeing so far, performance is also much improved.

The old layout is on the left, and the initial view of the new one is on the right.

Most Popular Blog Posts For 2015

The year 2015 is almost done, and 2016 is upon us!  As in previous years, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at what content was active, and compare that to previous years.

The RDCMan posts remain popular, with the 2.7 version replacing the older 2.2 post.  Windows 2012 R2 ADFS installation remains very active with all of the setup articles in the most common posts.  In the same vein,… Read the rest “Most Popular Blog Posts For 2015”

I also wanted to wish everyone a great holiday.  If you are going skiing, staying home with family or slipping an extra shrimp on the barbie, take the time to enjoy it with your friends and fam… Read the rest “Most Popular Blog Posts For 2014”

Back To The Real World

You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog, TechNet forums and also replying to comments.  I took some time off to go back to Europe for a few weeks travelling around Malta and Scotland.  Will get back to normal soon, just have to slash through my inbox and get that under control!

After enjoying this:

Return of The MEC

WP_000315

This week I am fortunate to be at MEC along with thousands of other people who are passionate about Exchange, and are looking to get the latest information on Exchange Server 2013.

WaterfallThe event is at the Gaylord Palm Hotel in Orlando, and I have to say it is a spiffy place with coy carp, alligators and a really big salt water tank with lots of really nice big fish.  Gators
