Exchange 2013 CU22 Released

Exchange 2013 CU22 has been released to the Microsoft download centre! Exchange 2013 has a different servicing strategy than Exchange 2007/2010 and utilises Cumulative Updates (CUs) rather than the Rollup Updates (RU/UR) which were used previously. Mail Not Flowing From Office 365 To On-Premises Exchange Server

This is a repro of a customer reported issue where they were having issues sending email from Office 365 to on-premises Exchange servers. Apparently this had been working previously with no issues, then mailflow started to have problems. Some email was flowing from Office 365, but some was delayed or not delivered at all.

Exchange Visual C++ Runtime Reminder

After seeing multiple comments on this topic internally and on the TechNet forums, it is worth reiterating the requirements for the Visual C++ Runtime.

Exchange requires the installation of the Visual C++ Runtime if it was not already installed. Note that there is a different requirement for the Exchange Edge role. Edge requires Visual C++ Runtime 2012.

Exchange Null Path Statement

Update 16-11-2020 - Issue still persists. Currently see the same behaviour on an Exchange 2016 CU18 server and a fresh Exchange 2013 Cu23 build.
