Unable To Run Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity – Error Code 1

The below is an error which an Exchange administrator brought up on an Exchange 2010 engagement.  They were trying to use the Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity cmdlet to validate the Exchange infrastructure.  However, the cmdlet was not working as expected.  In the below image you can see that it starts to perform the test, and then errors out.

Reminder – Upcoming Change in Office 365 EOP Connectors

Exchange 2010 SP3 RU16 Released

Today heralded the arrival of Rollup Update Rollup 16 (RU16) for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3.  RU16 is the latest rollup of customer fixes available for Exchange Server 2010.  All updates are delivered via a RU for Exchange 2010 and 2007.  Exchange 2013 and 2016 have a different release model, where security updates are decoupled from the standard cumulative updates.

Exchange 2010 OAB Recommended Configuration
