Exchange 2013 Network Port Reference

There have been a few requests for an Exchange 2013 network port reference article. Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 both had sections on TechNet with that title.

Exchange 2013 CU8 Released

Exchange 2013 CU8 has been released to the Microsoft download centre! Exchange 2013 has a different servicing strategy than Exchange 2007/2010 and utilises Cumulative Updates (CUs) rather than the Rollup Updates (RU/UR) which were used previously. Exchange 2010 SP3 RU9 Released

The Exchange team today announced the availability of Update Rollup 9 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3. RU9 is the latest rollup of customer fixes available for Exchange Server 2010. The release contains fixes for customer reported issues and previously released security bulletins.

Update 015-027 Revised (3002657)

In the March 2015 security bulletin, update 15-027 was released. This is to address a vulnerability in the Netlogon component of windows that could allow spoofing. The security bulleting for 015-027 is available in the Security TechCenter. KB 3002657 provides details of the update.

How To Check Exchange Schema And Object Values In AD

This content was extracted from a separate upcoming Exchange 2013 schema post to maintain focus on viewing the Exchange schema attributes.

Exchange 2013 admins should assume that a Cumulative Update (CU) will have AD schema updates. The release notes and release blog post will discuss this in detail for each CU. This is very similar to the Exchange 2007/2010 service packs of old.

How To Get Azure VM IP Addresses Using PowerShell

Curious as to what IPs are used by your Azure VMs? This may seem a simple question, but it was not until last year that Azure allowed you to set static IPs on VMs. Prior to this it was a first come first served basis.
