In Exchange 2010, the Exchange Management Console allowed us to import certificates to multiple servers and to then assign the certificate to multiple servers simultaneously.  In the Exchange 2013 and Exchange 2016 EAC, the option to enable the certificate for Exchange services is per server.

Renewing certificates breaks down into the following main sections

  1. Create Certificate Signing Request
  2. Send Certificate Signing Request to the Certification Authourity to be signed
  3. Complete Certificate Signing Request
  4. Install certificate on additional servers

Exchange 2013 Upgrade Workshop Links – April 2016

Last week I was in Ottawa to review the process of upgrading to Exchange 2013.  Since the focus was upgrading from Exchange 2007, that required blowing the cobwebs off some long term storage brain cells!

Active Directory Replication Status Tool Expired

Update 25-4-2016 - The tool has been updated and should be functional.  The feedback pages referenced at the bottom are now closed.

Save The Date – End of Exchange 2007 Extended Support

End of Exchange 2007 Extended SupportExchange 2007 is now twelve months out from the end of its support lifecycle.  If you still have Exchange 2007 deployed, and have not completed the migration to a newer version of Exchange then it is time to accelerate that migration project.

Exchange Autodiscover – How Delegate Mailboxes Are Returned
