When onsite with a customer last week they were curious as to how they could create an Exchange Email Address Policy (EAP) with an underscore in it. This was because the option to use an underscore is not present within the Exchange graphical tools.

Azure AD Connect Express Install Upgrade – Build 1.1.105.0

In February 2016 a new build of the Azure AD Connect tool was released. This is build 1.1.105.0. Multiple features and enhancements were added, and some significant changes were made to Azure AD Connect.

Running The New Exchange 2010 Office 365 2010 Hybrid Wizard

The Office 365 HCW has been updated and now supports Exchange 2010. Previously only Exchange 2013 and 2016 were the only versions supported by the initial release of the Office 365 HCW.

For details on the updated support position please see this post on the Exchange Team Blog. This means that the HCW built into the Exchange 2010 product is not to be used, and should now be considered unsupported.

Exchange 2013 CU11 has been released to the Microsoft download centre! Exchange 2013 has a different servicing strategy than Exchange 2007/2010 and utilises Cumulative Updates (CUs) rather than the Rollup Updates (RU/UR) which were used previously.
